It’s been said that many hands make light work. Without the guidance and encouragement from our board members, 51:10 would not be changing the stories of families in their community. We are grateful to these men and women who help steer 51:10 in the purpose God has for this ranch.
Scott Reed is retired after 30 years in Sales and Management. Scott and his wife Leza have been married 42 years and have two grown children, a son and daughter. Scott is a graduate of Arizona State, has served on various boards and is a member of Clearview Community Church where they also serve. Scott has also served as a mentor since 2021 with 51:10 Ranch.
Amber lives in Buena Vista, CO with her 3 children, Ben, Anna Kate and Brantley. Originally from Woodstock, GA she graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and then spent 15 years living in Jacksonville, FL. She moved to Buena Vista with her family in 2013. Amber currently works as a Real Estate Agent for Full Circle Reality. She has served with Young Life, Young Lives and various roles in her Church. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, skiing, playing in the river and exploring all this beautiful valley has to offer.
Boogie Lewis is retired after 45 years practicing law in the Denver area. He graduated from Sam Houston University and achieved his J.D. from Baylor University. Boogie and his wife LJ have lived in Buena Vista since he retired in 2019. Boogie is a former soccer, basketball and softball coach, a Helping Hands volunteer in Chaffee County and has volunteered at 51:10 since 2024 through worship and barn chores.
Pastor Rick Earle was born and raised in Long Beach, CA where he still resides with his wife Joan. They have a son, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. Rick worked for 25 years as a commercial insurance broker. Early on in his faith journey he was involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and leading small groups. Rick graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry in 2007. He’s led men’s ministry, mission trips and served as Venue Pastor for Sea Coast Grace Church in CA. Rick also started and served on the board of a non-profit called True Impact, serving the impoverished in Northern Mexico. Rick joined the board for 51:10 in January of 2026.
Michael Roy joined the board in May of 2026. He and his wife, Annemarie, have three young adult children. While not originally from Colorado, he and Annemarie were engaged on the summit of Mt. Princeton and bought their home in Buena Vista in 2007, moving here permanently in 2022. His non-profit experience spans over 20 years with youth, young adults and couples ministries including at Metro Denver Partners, various Catholic programs, Marked Men for Christ, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and serving on the board of the Buena Vista Pregnancy Center. Mike also mentors young Christian men 13-30s and is "slowly" working on his Master of Theology degree.
